An educational series for professional development of medical doctors offered by the Singapore Medical Association Centre for Medical Ethics and Professionalism (SMA CMEP).
Objectives:
- To equip medical doctors on the basic knowledge of the law and medical professionalism as it affects medical practice in Singapore.
- To understand the law as it applies to the area of professional regulation, governance and accountability
- To acquire the strategies for good legal risk management to reduce claims and complaints.
- To apply the law and professional ethics to promote patient safety and patient-centred medical practice.
